I am an aspiring games designer based in Manchester, currently working at TT Games as a Collision Artist. I graduated university at Futureworks in 2015 with an upper second class BA (Hons) in Games Design.
I have experience in level and mechanic design, some art experience (more as a way to demonstrate and explain design) and have good teamwork and communication skills.
In past projects I have worked with UDK, Unreal Engine 4 and Unity (C#). I am confident with Maya, 3DS Max and GraphicsGale for 3D and 2D assets respectively and understand the process of bringing these into engine for use in a game.
I regularly attend game jams and I’m particularly interested in unique concepts for games, through integration of narrative within the mechanical design of games. For this reason I have been particularly interested in the rise of independent games and the gradual movement of public view, that people are now much more accepting of interesting game concepts. I look forward to seeing the industry change and hope to be a part of this.
